The second demonstration was from Caitlin Smith from Control Bionics - www.controlbionics.com - which uses EMG signals to communicate with a computer.

The third demonstration was from Dr. Beverly Walters, MD, discussing the Andara Oscillating Frequency Stimulator (OFS) device. Cyberkinetics offers the device It is not FDA approved, yet, but in clinical trials, applied to C and T level injuries. It can be implanted up to 18 days post injury. The device is in clinical trials.

"is it correct Dr Hurtt actually said the quote below on Cethrin results or is this some literay licence being used because it sounds bad for Cethrin or any drug tested in humans?

"""so it becomes impossible to say for sure that the drug is driving the recovery."""

This quote pertained to Question: Do the patients receive therapy? Yes, and it’s actually a huge problem, because the more recovery the patients get, the more they want to concentrate on rehab . . .

I meant to go back and say that I named all those sponsors because they handed over dough to make this possible. It's a big deal.

It's Friday, April 4th, 8:52 am in Seattle and raining just enough to need the windshield wipers. Only a week to go before I'm on a plane to Washington DC, and I can't wait.
